Le donne trionfano alla 63esima edizione dei Grammy Awards, oltre a Queen Bey, anche Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga e Taylor Swift

Che serata fantastica per Beyoncé al Los Angeles Convention Center! Con i successi registrati questa notte alla 63esima edizione dei Grammy Awards – tra le più discusse degli ultimi tempi – la cantante di Houston ha tagliato il traguardo dei 28 premi consegnatoli dalla Recording Academy. Supera così il record detenuto precedentemente dalla violinista Alison Krauss con 27 statuette. Merito delle vittorie per il miglior video musicale con Brown Skin Girl, per la migliore performance rap e migliore canzone rap con Savage, il successo di Megan Thee Stallion, e per la migliore performance R&B con Black Parade.

Non solo Bey: gli altri premiati ai Grammy

È sempre Megan Thee Stallion ad essersi aggiudicata il Grammy come miglior nuova artista. L’ambito premio di miglior brano dell’anno è andato invece a I Can’t Breathe di H.E.R., premiata direttamente dal presentatore Trevor Noah. Harry Styles ha trionfato nella categoria Best Pop Solo Performance con Watermelon Sugar, con cui ha anche aperto la kermesse musicale.

Album of the Year per Taylor Swift e il suo Folklore. Risultato che permette alla cantante di ritagliarsi un posto nella storia al fianco di artisti come Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon e Stevie Wonder. Tutti loro, infatti, hanno vinto il Grammy in quella categoria almeno tre volte in carriera. Per Taylor, la statuetta arrivò già nel 2008 e nel 2014. Il riconoscimento di Record of the Year è andato invece a Billie Eilish per Everything I Wanted.

Menzione finale per Bad Bunny e Kanye West. L’album YHLQMDLG del Conejo è stato riconosciuto come miglior album latin pop/urban. Benito si è peraltro esibito al fianco di Jhay Cortez, portando la massive hit Dakiti. Ye ha invece ricevuto il Grammy per il Best Contemporary Christian Music Album, con Jesus is King, uscito a ottobre 2019.
