Dopo aver confermato lo scorso giovedì che Beyoncè avrebbe collaborato alla canzone, i fan non erano sicuri di cosa aspettarsi da due cantanti così diversi. Ora che la traccia è uscita, ne hanno ricevuto il consenso: Perfect è assolutamente perfetta.

Scherzando, Sheeran racconta che vorrebbe rendere il brano un po’ come Despacito e, dalle prime reazioni, sembra davvero così. Sebbene la versione originale abbia già appassionato i fan quando Divide è uscito, con Beyoncé c’è una grande intesa a livello vocale.
